This may be a blessing in disguise, however. The mediocre Hornets hope to make a 2nd half run with Chandler and all-star point guard Chris Paul. Last year, the struggling city of New Orleans rallied around the perrenial losers and sparked a certain passion the city hasn't seen in years.
This botched trade will seemingly work out well for both the Hornets and the Thunder. Chandler is one of the league's good guys and I wish nothing but the best for him.
